Omg it may be a little early since legit NOTHING is confirmed yet but but but we have this immersion programme thing offered by Tamagawa Uni for 3 weeks in June that's open to Jap 4 and above students and my parents just gave me the go-ahead!!!

There's only 15 slots available so I'm crossing my fingers x

And I'm also waiting for a reply from this Japanese internship opportunity :3 (I'll prolly keep applying even if I don't get it this round LOL) but it's 4 months in Japan with airfare, accomm and 2 meals a day covered, together with a (prolly small) stipend :D

Okay I need to write my 800 word essay due today now LOL

... I dreamt that one of my guy friends kissed me LOL but considering the last dream I had was of me shooting myself in the head (and still managing to walk around with blood oozing out of my skull) and the one before that was me in the passenger seat of a car (my oldest bro was driving and I think we weren't supposed to use the car because he gave me this mischievous look???) which almostfell off a cliff and then almost drowning because heavy rains caused the area to flood...

I don't think I have much faith in whatever my subconscious is trying to tell me. That said, I've always been fascinated in the "meaning" of dreams ever since secondary school I think? There was this teacher who talked about the power of dreams and the ability to lucid dream... Hehe and it goes without saying that I wanted the ability to bend the world to my will who doesn't?!? So I started recording as much as I could remember from my dreams in my dream journal :3 I haven't written in my dream journal in a while though because I've been lazy and have not been dreaming as much as I used to... but take my word for it that my dreams are wild and can be very disturbing

So apparently, the first step (and the most crucial one actually) to lucid dreaming is the realisationthat you're dreaming. Because in our dream state our brains make up things to make us believe whatever situation we are in, we often do not know that we're dreaming. Like wow, that really says something about how easily convinced we are lol is this how brainwashing works ...oh how susceptible we all are to suggestions LOL

I think I've managed to acknowledge that I'm in a dream state maybe 2/3 times since I started recording my dreams? But in those dreams, it's always because I am in control of some power but is too weak to fight LOL... Yet that instant when I regained my self-awareness is a feeling that can't really be replicated -- it's like I suddenly become more cognisant of the "world" I'm in and better able to take in more details than before.

* Nope, I'm not gonna talk about the guy who kissed me in my dream or the dream itself LOL

**More importantly, my friends also have weird dreams but let's face it which dream isn't weird and the other day we were talking about our recent dreams and she described this scenario which I thinkI have seen played out before?? Like I dreamt that dream previously?? ((It was a very exciting dream about spies and escaping from other people))

Hahaha, to be honest, I don't know what prompted me to watch this drama? I guess I wanted to see Kuroshima Yuina's acting, since I really liked her portrayal in Dokkun's drama, Gomen ne Seishun! but still not as much as I liked Mitsushima Hikari's portrayal of her role -- damn that teacher in the drama was badass, even though it was slightly problematic the way she fell for Dokkun but yah

Anyway, I wasn't initially planning on completing this series after watching the fourth episode, but since there were only five episodes in total I manage to power through the last episode LOL.

Shige is such a cutie, I think I'll watch more of his shows hehehe.
I can't remember what else I wanted to type so I'll end here lol. Ahahaha, it turned out to be more of a rant than a review. :x

LOL SO EVERYONE'S BEEN SENDING ME LINKS TO NEWSPAPER ARTICLES REGARDING MY SCHOOL CAMPS and I also want to write about it but not on my personal social media accounts but rather on a more anonymous platform because LOL I WANT TO SAY THAT I HATED MY ORIENTATION CAMP LAST YEAR because it just felt so superficial and meaningless and wtf-I-came-to-this-camp-to-have-fun-and-not-for-you-to-have-fun-at-my-expense but at the same time I also feel bad for my ogls who /did/ seem like they genuinely wanted us to have fun

Mmh but then again I have only been a camper and have not experienced the behind the scenes camp stuff going on so I don't really know the full picture so yah

I told myself I have to update regularly so my brain does not fall into disuse so... and also because I've cut down on other social media platforms it's just seems too over the top and pretentious and I don't even know / talk to most people there anymore I don't really reflect on my life as regularly as I'd like /:

Today's my eldest brother's birthday so there were plenty of food and junk :333

Also: I'm rolling in feels because of Pokemon Go stories -- it's cool that it has resulted in so many effects; I've read stories ranging from people going outside, and exploring their neighbourhood, to finding dead bodies, to autistic children interacting more with strangers and it heartens me to hear of such stories i'm doing a module on deviance next sem and if possible i'd love to discuss the game and it's effects on a societal level, and as part of the deviance discourse hehe and the me now has heard so much about branding and marketing in the past week that makes me question the strategies employed by nintendo LOL IT'S SO COOL IT MUST HAVE BEEN A BIG RISK???

but on the flip side, there are also stories of people going too far, and getting into accidents etc PLZ BE SAFE PEOPLE

Okay I'm taking advantage of my good Internet connection today to download stuff that I want to watch from bilibili :$

The site is actually very good lol, there are avid Arashi fans who post their variety shows, and special programmes like The Music Day, dramas, and other such appearances on television, and they do it very quickly, and regularly. It's similar to that popular Korean site the name which I can't recall rn ! But it's interface is quite cool and similar to niconico :D Basically, it's my go-to if I want to watch an Arashi video but am too lazy to trawl through communities in search for it because of a recommendation by a friend hehehe

But the only downside is that everything is in Chinese okay it's bad for me because I can't read/write Chinese but if you can they have Chinese subtitles on practically EVERYTHING and they sub and upload really quickly. I found the videos I shared from here and/or her subbing comm (stated on her page).
